Thank you for visiting Flore & Folk. Below are our terms for the use of this website, whether as a guest or a registered user – please read these terms carefully before using this website.

 

Flore & Folk reserves the right to deny you access to the website and it’s service at its discretion with, or without notice and for any reason including, without limitation, if you fail to comply with any provision of these Terms. 

These terms and conditions of use are subject to change at any time and without notice. You are responsible for regularly reviewing these terms and conditions so that you are aware of any changes to them.


SERVICES


Online Yoga Membership

When taking out an online yoga membership with Flore & Folk you are entering into a contract bound by the terms and conditions outlined below.

To join, you will need to submit the online questionnaire stating your medical history and confirming that you are fit and well to participate. You also will need to agree to the online membership disclaimer found here.

You will have the options to choose from the following membership options:

  1. Rolling monthly membership:
    a) A one off payment of £25 in which you will receive one month’s subscription.
    b) A monthly standing order of £25 to be paid on every 1st of the month.

     

  2. A six month membership:
    a) A one off payment of £120
    b) Two payments of £60 each. The first payment up front, the second at the beginning of the third month.

 

Once you have submitted your details, you will receive an acknowledgement email with payment details. This does not mean your submission has been accepted. Your membership will only be confirmed once payment has been received and a confirmation email received.

Within the confirmation email, a password to access the membership page will be shared. This password is strictly confidential and should not be shared with anyone. If it is found that you have shared this with non-members, it is in our right to terminate your membership with no refund.

One your payment has been received no refunds or exchanges are permitted.


Cancelling Your Membership

In order to access the full range of benefits the membership offers, we recommend a minimum sign up period of three months. If you have a standing order, it is recommended that it is cancelled at least 2 weeks before the beginning of the following month. You can cancel your membership at any time by emailing connect@floreandfolk.com

 


Liability & Disclaimer

Please be aware that proper care shall be taken for your wellbeing and safety. However, it is important to realise it is ultimately your responsibility to adjust your practice to avoid injury. Flore & Folk can take no responsibility for injuries from, or as a consequence of, your participation in these online classes. 

You understand that yoga includes physical movements. You understand that you will receive information and instruction including verbal and physical cues. If any movement brings you discomfort, you know to modify a pose as deemed necessary to your physical needs. It is your responsibility to consult with a physician prior to you participation in any class.

You warrant that you are physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent your full participation in the online yoga sessions. You agree to take full responsibility for any risks, loss, claim, injury, damage or liability, known or unknown, which you might incur as a result of participation. You affirm that you are fully responsible to decide whether to practice yoga and take full responsibility and assume the risk for your participation in any class you take part in.

You recognise that this agreement of release and waiver of liability is a legal contract and that you have complete knowledge and understanding of its contents. 

 

 

 

Tonics - 1-2-1 yoga and massage therapy


Appointment bookings

Flore & Folk will provide you with an email confirmation of the time and date of your appointment. If you do not give an email address or give an incorrect email address when making the appointment booking online you will not receive this email confirmation.

On arrival, you must fill out the questionnaire provided, if not previously submitted, and disclose any reasons for concern.

You can reschedule your appointment via email provided you do this no less than 24 hours before the time of your appointment. Flore & Folk reserve the right to charge a fee equivalent to the cost of the treatment for failing to attend your appointment outside of the cancellation timeframes.

A late attendance for an appointment will result in a shorter appointment time being offered.

 


Payments and prepaid courses of treatment

You must pay for your treatment in full on the day of that treatment. 

This payment can be made either via BACS or cash on arrival. The payment details provided are not to be shared with any other third party.

If you have purchased a course of treatments and paid in advance, you must still give notice to cancel an appointment as per the cancellation terms below. I reserve the right to deduct a treatment from the pre-paid package you purchased if you do not give at least 24 hours notice to cancel the individual appointment. All treatment packages must be used within 6 months from the original purchase date, however some exceptions to this may be considered in specific circumstances.

 


Cancellations

For both massage and 1-2-1 yoga bookings Flore & Folk has a strict 48 cancellation hour policy. If you do not cancel or change you appointment, either via telephone or email, 48 hours before your scheduled session, or do no attend with no notice, you will be charged the following:
 

  • 48-24 hours will incur a 50% charge.

  • Cancellations 24 hours and under will be charged the full fee.

 


Inappropriate Behaviour

 

Flore & Folk has the right to terminate a treatment or yoga session immediately if the client demonstrates inappropriate, including sexual, behaviour.

 

Payment will be collected for the service in full. If, for any reason, the collection of money is unobtainable before leaving, an invoice will be sent to the client’s address. All invoices must be paid within 5 days working days of the issue date.

 


Suitability of massage treatments

There are some potential contradictions to having a massage treatment, this will be discussed on your first appointment, or if this occurs later in a course of treatment, then it will be re-evaluated and you will be informed if it is no longer appropriate to continue with your treatment.

It is normal for you to feel some muscle soreness, aching and bruising as a result of deep manipulative therapy to the soft tissues (skin, muscles, tendons and ligaments) and this will pass as part of the recovery process.

I will always be honest and open with you if it is not appropriate for you to have a massage treatment.

 


Liability

Flore & Folk will not be liable for any financial loss or loss of personal possessions, as a result of, or in connection with the provision of services to you. Flore & Folk will not be liable for any damage that may be caused as a result of your failure to disclose medical details that may, for example, make treatment inappropriate.

Flore & Folk will not be liable for any muscle soreness, bruising and discolouration of the skin, following any massage treatment.

 

Privacy

 

All clients must complete a questionnaire form prior to any 'tonic' service. Client details are strictly confidential and will only be discussed with the client. Forms and treatment notes will be kept securely for one year from treatment.

 

By signing the form, you are giving Flore & Folk permission to hold records and data about you in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Personal information will not be shared with any third parties.

 

 

Vouchers

 

Vouchers can be used as payment towards any available, advertised treatment.

 

Vouchers will be sent via email in PDF form and are valid for once use.

 

If the whole amount of the voucher is not used, another voucher for the remaining voucher sum will be issued

 

Vouchers are only valid up to the expiry date given on the voucher.

 

Refunds are not available for vouchers already paid for and provided

 

 

 

PURCHASING OTHER PRODUCTS

We may offer other items for you to purchase which will also be subject to our terms and conditions.

Flore & Folk cannot take any responsibility for the usage of your purchase, and so by making a purchase you acknowledge that Flore & Folk will have no obligation to you (without limitation) as to the quality, suitability and fitness for purpose.

www.floreandfolk.co.uk is an online community and therefore wants to remain a welcoming space for all. Any comments deemed spam, that include offensive language or show individual or group berating will be deleted and removal of the user imposed.
