FAQs

Where did you qualify?

I undertook my 200hr yoga teacher training with Trimurti Yoga* in the foothills of the Himalayas. As a multi-style qualification I was trained in Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga yoga.

My diploma in Ayurvedic Massage & Ayurvedic Diet & Lifestyle was obtained with The Ayurvedic Institute UK. The founder, Dr Deepika, has been practicing as an Ayurvedic doctor for 30 years and the wisdom she shared through her teaching is at the heart of Flore & Folk.

Ayurveda is most commonly known as yoga’s scientific sister, translating as the science of life. Originating from Indian scripture, the practice is based on the five elements: Ether, Air, Fire, Earth & Water.

External influences such as environment, diet and lifestyle have the ability to cause disturbances to the delicate balance within the body and over time this can lead to disorders, illness and disease.

An ayurvedic massage focuses on rebalancing the flow of energy within the body.

Applying unique blends of theraputic warm oils, tailored massage techniques are used to stimulate energy points, release stagnant energy, sustain health, relax the body and calm the mind.
